Meet Berri Bongfen
As a Resident Therapist at ALCC Health, Berri Bongfen provides compassionate and supportive counseling services to individuals, couples, children, and adolescents navigating emotional, behavioral, and relationship challenges. She has completed her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling and is currently working toward full licensure while also pursuing her Ph.D., demonstrating her ongoing commitment to professional growth and advanced clinical knowledge.
Berri brings extensive experience working with children and adolescents through her previous employment within Virginia residential treatment settings, where she supported youth facing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. Her clinical background has strengthened her ability to connect with clients in meaningful ways while helping families navigate difficult transitions, communication struggles, behavioral concerns, and emotional stressors.
As a wife and mother of five, Berri also understands the real-life complexities of balancing relationships, parenting, family dynamics, and personal growth. Her personal and professional experiences allow her to approach therapy with warmth, empathy, patience, and understanding.
Berri is passionate about helping clients build healthier relationships, strengthen communication, improve emotional wellness, and develop greater confidence in themselves and their connections with others. She creates a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their healing journey. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and a deep respect for each individual’s unique life experience and personal growth process.
